Card-Getting the Tree -ACY & H

These are a couple of cards I made using A Child's Year and Heritage. The frame is the charm on page 33 of Heritage, sized at 5 inches. I then added the "getting the tree" image from page 57 Of A Child's Year  and sized it so it slightly overlapped the frame . The two were then welded together.  This was cut from COLORBOK Pearlescent white paper.
I then cut out the shadow of the frame the same size as first layer (from Heritage, pg. 33, shift) from glossy paper. I then cut it again, slightly larger, from contrasting glossy paper to use as the actual shadow. The layers were adhered together.
The actual cards were made from DCWV 2009 Christmas Glitter Pack made at 4 x5 1/4inches. A blue or green contrasting piece of glossy paper was cut at 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches and cut along the right outside edge with a decorative scissor. This was attached inside the front of the card.  The finishing touch is a piece of ribbon tied to the loop at the top. Thanks for looking!
